Lauren Reese spent her childhood in rural Kenya, where she fell in love with painting flora and fauna. She holds a BA in Art Education and has taught in a variety of settings. As a mother to two little ones, Lauren is a passionate advocate of respectful and peaceful parenting. A watercolor and gouache artist, she illustrates books as well as original paintings and commissioned pieces. When she isn’t painting, she is paddle boarding on the lake with her family, foraging for mushrooms, or in the final stages of designing her dream home: an A-frame in the heart of Nashville.
